It is a new year and time for a change. I have always been intrigued by the concept of extreme type sports but have never found one that really interested me enough to actually get myself excited enough to try it.
Over the past few weeks I had been looking for something to do that was truly different. As I was searching around Google, I found the sport of Canyoneering. For those of you who don't know what Canyoneering is, this blog has been designed to:
- Tell you what the sport is all about
- Let each of you experience what it truly takes to get involved in the sport (good, bad and ugly)
- Document my progress and each trip so that you may see some of the spectacular places that can be explored if you "live on the edge" just a bit.
